The Sonflower Story
What’s in a name? You may wonder why Sonflower is written with an “o” and not a “u”. It is not an error and it is not a typo. It’s intentional. The “o” is a significant part of our business focus and our why. The “o” stands for our brother and uncle’s name Sonny who unexpectedly and suddenly passed right before the Christmas holidays in 2019 at the young age of 40.
His passing has taught us many poignant lessons. The first is to live each day as if they were our last, pursuing dreams and visions today and not holding back in fear. His passing has given us the courage to start this business. The confidence to know that even if we don’t know all the answers in the present God will lead us to figure them out.

The second lesson he has taught us is that our health and wellness are important. God has given us one body, one shell; and it’s up to us to maintain it well.
